DIZZY! - Your next favorite brother sister music duo is a funk and pop duo based out of New Orleans, Louisiana. The lead band members are siblings David (27) and Izzy (21) Gruner who have been greatly involved with live music for over 10 years. Their roots began at the amazing Baton Rouge Music Studio (BRMS) where they learned to play and sing, then developed them into the amazing musicians they are today.

Both David and Izzy are currently students at Loyola University New Orleans where they work on further development of their musicianship by collaboration, dedication, and personal growth through classes and experiences.

Hi my name is Izzy! I play piano and sing in DIZZY! I am a Popular and Commercial Music Major at Loyola University in New Orleans. I have been in drama clubs, musicals, choirs, and a variety of bands growing up, and I have also taken music lessons since about 3rd grade. I am heavily inspired by artists such as Lawrence, Remi Wolf, and Theo Katzman.

Hi my name is David! I play guitar and sing in DIZZY! I used to be a math major, but because of COVID, I dropped out of school and became a manager at Baton Rouge Music Studios (BRMS). After a few years, I joined Izz in college at Loyola. We started performing together about 10 years ago in Baton Rouge, starting at BRMS. We were always told we sounded good together by our friends and family, so we decided to start gigging together. I’ve always had a pretty high-pitched voice, so some of my biggest inspirations are Queen, Stevie Wonder, and Vulfpeck.
