Jonathan McHugh
Studio A Music Library is led by Jonathan McHugh. McHugh is a veteran independent TV and film producer/ director/music supervisor who has held high ranking creative and marketing positions at some of the world’s biggest entertainment companies including New Line Cinema/Warner Films & Def Jam Films/Universal Music over the past few decades. He’s also produced 35 films and TV shows with and about some of pop culture’s biggest pop culture stars including Justin Bieber, Britney Spears, Janis Joplin, Snoop Dogg, Muhammad Ali and Ludacris.
Carter Scheuermann
Carter Scheuermann directs Studio A Music Library alongside Jonathan McHugh. In addition to his role with the library, he owns Crescent Music Company where he has serves creatives as a composer, music supervisor, and talent manager.

Max Horowitz - Admin, Metadata
Born and raised in Northern New Jersey, Max is a mixing engineer and producer. Exposed to live music from a young age through many family outings at concerts and piano playing, he quickly developed a deep passion for sound, and the art of capturing it. His work is shaped by hands-on experience in both studio and live environments, giving him a versatile and thorough approach to music production.

Francesca Donato - Music Director, Marketing
Francesca is an assistant music supervisor and music industry professional. She has a background in music composition, arranging, and performance. With Studio A, she works to promote the Music Library to local artists. Alongside her work at Studio A Music Library, she works on marketing with some local, New Orleans bands.

Taylor Williams - A&R, Marketing
Taylor Williams is a singer-songwriter and producer who releases music under the alias Tuller. He has experience working independently as a self-managed, self-marketed, and self-produced artist. Through his work as Tuller, Taylor has performed with bands such as The Revivalists and played shows at venues and festivals including Folk Alliance, Freret Fest, and the Fillmore. In his free time, he enjoys weightlifting and caring for his fish tank.

Nora Bunker - Marketing, Admin
Nora is a social media manager and content creator with a passion for digital storytelling and brand growth. She currently serves as an A&R and Artist Relations Intern at Indify, assisting artists and their teams in seamlessly navigating the independent label ecosystem.

Alaya - Music Director
Alaya has a background in music engineering, production, and music supervision. In her current role as a Music Director, she promotes the music library, collaborates with artists, and oversees the signing of new talent to the catalog. Alongside her work with Studio A Music Library, she also pursues her passion for songwriting and poetry.

Maeve Maloney-Vinz - Music Director
Hailing from St. Paul, Minnesota, Maeve Maloney-Vinz is an aspiring music industry professional with a passion for discovering new music. She has worked as a radio DJ for Radio K at the University of Minnesota, and WTUL at Tulane University. When she's not on air or working with the library, Maeve spends her time sourcing and repairing vintage TVs, stereos, and clock radios.

Jayden Nelson - Marketing, Clearance
Jayden is a R&B singer-songwriter from Marietta, Georgia who goes by the artist name JAYSINGS. He is A&R as well as marketing and clearance of music at Studio A Music Library. He’s also a crate digger that collects various records that influence his knowledge of music.

Andrew Dantin
Andrew is a singer-songwriter and business management associate from the small town of St. Francisville, LA. Under his stage name, Dantin (creative, we know), he works with online instrumentalists to put together introspective indie rock songs inspired by the likes of Elliott Smith and Alex G. Live music is a passion of his, having worked at the House of Blues in Boston and Tipitina’s in uptown New Orleans. His hobbies outside of music include weightlifting, cartooning, and antiquing weird trinkets.

Ryan Cook - A&R
Ryan Elliot Cook is a New Orleans–based producer and A&R representative with Studio A Music Library, with a background in music production and songwriting. Currently collaborating with producers Alan Abrahams, Sam Bachrack, Ricky Peterson, and Greg Phillinganes on a new album, Ryan works closely with artists throughout the creative process. He finds true enjoyment in shaping music that feels genuinely authentic while also being placement-ready, all while building meaningful, long-term relationships between creators and the library.
